Mr. Baldman Trivia (“Mr. Baldman Trivia,” “Mr. Baldman,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Jonathon Walters.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the Mr. Baldman Trivia mobile application (“App”), visit MrBaldman.com (“Website”), or otherwise interact with Mr. Baldman Trivia.
By using the App or Website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. MR. BALDMAN TRIVIA PLAYER PROFILES
Mr. Baldman Trivia does not require you to create a traditional account using your real name, email address, phone number, or mailing address in order to play.
When a player profile is created, the App generates a unique player identifier (“Player ID” or “PlayerGuid”). Players may also choose a display name.
Your display name does not need to be your real name.
The Player ID may be used to support features including:
Leaderboards
Friends and friend requests
Player profiles
Trivia Duels
Rankings and competitive features
Gameplay statistics
Purchase entitlements
Cloud backup and account recovery
Restoring the same player profile on another device
Although a Player ID may not identify you by your legal name, it is a persistent identifier associated with your Mr. Baldman Trivia player profile.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The App stores gameplay and preference information locally on your device.
Depending on the features you use, locally stored information may include:
Player ID
Display name
Scores
Correct and incorrect answers
Questions played
Game statistics
Lifetime score
XP and player level
Streaks and records
Achievements
Trivia Token balance
Trivia-pack access and selections
Game-mode statistics
Difficulty statistics
Category and topic performance
Daily Challenge progress
Settings and preferences
Music and sound settings
Purchase and subscription entitlement information
Some of this information may also be transmitted to our servers when necessary to provide online features.
3. INFORMATION SENT TO MR. BALDMAN TRIVIA SERVERS
Mr. Baldman Trivia uses online services to provide features including leaderboards, friends, player profiles, Trivia Duels, player recovery, and purchase verification.
When you use these features, information transmitted to and stored by our servers may include:
Player ID
Display name
Scores and leaderboard information
Game mode and difficulty information
Gameplay results and statistics
Ranking information
Player activity associated with online features
Friend relationships
Incoming and outgoing friend requests
Blocked-player relationships
Favorite-player relationships where applicable
Duel invitations, participation, results, and related statistics
Trivia categories associated with your player profile
Trivia Token and entitlement information where required for App functionality
Recovery status and recovery records
Dates and times associated with online activity or stored records
This information is used to operate Mr. Baldman Trivia and is not used for third-party advertising.
4. CLOUD BACKUP AND PLAYER RECOVERY
Mr. Baldman Trivia offers optional features that allow players to protect and recover their progress.
If you enable player protection or cloud recovery, the App may send a recovery snapshot to our servers.
A recovery snapshot may contain information associated with your player profile, including:
Player ID
Display name
Trivia Token balance
XP and level
Lifetime score
Streak information
Gameplay statistics
Achievements
Trivia-pack information
Player progression
Other game-state information required to restore your player profile
Cloud recovery information is associated with your Player ID.
Enabling recovery may also cause updated recovery information to be synchronized as your protected player progresses.
Deleting the App or removing local App data does not necessarily delete information already stored on our servers.
5. SIGN IN WITH APPLE AND GOOGLE ACCOUNT RECOVERY
Depending on your device, Mr. Baldman Trivia may allow you to protect or restore a player using Sign in with Apple or Google authentication.
These services are used for player recovery and identity verification. They are not required for ordinary gameplay.
When you choose to use one of these services, Apple or Google authenticates you and provides information necessary to confirm a stable account identity.
Mr. Baldman Trivia uses the authentication result or provider identifier to associate the recovery method with your existing Player ID.
Your Apple or Google account does not replace your Mr. Baldman Trivia Player ID.
We do not require your real name or email address to create an ordinary Mr. Baldman Trivia player profile, and your email address is not used as your permanent Mr. Baldman Trivia Player ID.
Apple and Google process authentication information according to their own privacy policies.
6. FRIENDS, SOCIAL FEATURES, AND CONTACTS
Mr. Baldman Trivia includes social features such as:
Friends
Friend requests
Player profiles
Favorites
Blocked players
Trivia Duels
Leaderboards
These features create an in-app social graph associated with Player IDs.
Mr. Baldman Trivia does not access or upload the contacts or address book stored on your phone.
For purposes of app-store privacy disclosures, in-app friend relationships or a social graph may be categorized as “Contacts.” This does not mean that Mr. Baldman Trivia reads your device’s Contacts application or address book.
7. GAMEPLAY AND PRODUCT INTERACTION DATA
The App may collect gameplay information necessary to operate online features and maintain player statistics.
This may include:
Scores
Game modes
Difficulty levels
Correct-answer performance
Streaks
Rankings
Challenge progress
Trivia Duels
Achievements
Category performance
Player progression
Interaction with gameplay features
We use this information for App functionality, including player statistics, leaderboards, Duels, progression, recovery, and related features.
We do not use this information to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
8. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Mr. Baldman Trivia may offer optional digital purchases, including Trivia Tokens and Baldman Ultimate subscriptions.
Purchases are processed by the platform through which you obtained the App, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.
To verify purchases, restore purchases, provide purchased content, and maintain subscription access, we may receive or process limited purchase information such as:
Product identifier
Transaction or purchase identifier
Purchase status
Subscription status
Purchase date
Expiration or renewal information
Store receipt or validation information
Entitlement status
Mr. Baldman Trivia does not receive your complete credit-card number, bank-account number, or full payment-card details.
Payment credentials are processed by Apple, Google, or their payment partners according to their respective privacy policies.
Apple and Google may also provide developers with financial, transaction, subscription, and sales reports.
9. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App uses internet connectivity to provide features such as:
Leaderboards
Friends and social features
Trivia Duels
Cloud backup and recovery
Purchase verification
Subscription management
Opening Mr. Baldman websites or social-media pages
Other online game functionality
The current App does not require access to your:
Precise location
Device address book
Photos
Camera
Microphone
Text messages
Call history
Health or fitness information
If the permissions required by the App change in the future, this Privacy Policy and applicable app-store disclosures will be updated as appropriate.
10. ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS, AND TRACKING
The current version of Mr. Baldman Trivia:
Does not display third-party advertisements
Does not contain third-party advertising SDKs
Does not sell personal information
Does not sell player gameplay information
Does not use collected App data for third-party advertising
Does not use App data to track users across other companies’ apps or websites
Does not use third-party behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking
We may use operational information necessary to maintain the App and online services, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, maintain security, and keep services functioning.
Our hosting and platform providers may also process technical information as necessary to provide their services.
11. HOW WE USE APP INFORMATION
Information collected through the App may be used to:

12. HOW APP INFORMATION IS SHARED

Apple, for App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple, purchases, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and related services
Google, for Google Play distribution, authentication, purchases, subscriptions, fraud prevention, and related services
Cloud hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to operate Mr. Baldman Trivia’s online services
Service providers involved in security, hosting, or technical operation of the App
Professional advisers when reasonably necessary
Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law
A successor organization if the Mr. Baldman business is sold, transferred, reorganized, or merged
Service providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

When you leave Mr. Baldman Trivia and use another service, that service’s privacy policy and terms apply.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party services.
16. DATA RETENTION
Locally stored App information generally remains on your device until it is deleted through the App, the App’s storage is cleared, the associated player is removed, or the App is uninstalled.
Information transmitted to Mr. Baldman Trivia’s servers may remain after the App is uninstalled or local information is deleted.
Server information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Operate leaderboards and rankings
Maintain social relationships and Duels
Provide cloud recovery
Maintain purchase and entitlement records
Prevent fraud or abuse
Maintain security
Resolve disputes
Satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements
Maintain legitimate operational records
Public or historical leaderboard records may not automatically disappear when local App data is deleted.
Where applicable, you may contact us to request deletion of server-associated information.
17. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding personal information associated with you, including rights to request:

We do not sell personal information or use App information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because Mr. Baldman Trivia player profiles may use pseudonymous Player IDs and display names rather than real-world identity information, we may need information from you that allows us to reasonably locate and verify the relevant player record before fulfilling a privacy request.

18. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Mr. Baldman Trivia is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that information has been collected from a child under 13 in a manner that requires parental consent and such consent was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to address or delete the information as required by applicable law.

Mr. Baldman Trivia is operated from the United States.
Information used to provide online features may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

We may preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to:
